National data privacy law coming; Big Brother, already here
It would be nice to be able to contact companies and ask "What information do you have about me?" It would be nicer still to also be able to say "Yeah, you don't need to be keeping that. Delete it."
And if it doesn't become the law to be able to do that, it'll make a great business!

Excel Recalculates Zero
Microsoft Excel has recalculated the value of zero.
Zero is now equal to 3.55271E-14.
Not always. And I can't tell you why except it has to do with how the calculated cell is formatted.
If you sort it, it acts like zero.
But, it is not zero. Zero looks like this: "0"
Good 'ole Excel.
Changing the way we see the world.

Happy New Year
It's a new year, and this will be the first blog post for 2009. It's also the first post from a mobile device. Hurray for me.
I could do one of those things were I talk about every little thing I do, but give me a break. That ain't gonna happen. I could have a specific theme that I stick to, but that ain't gonna happen either. Instead, I'll probably just post whatever the hell I want whenever I want to.
Yeah, that's what I'll do.
Welcome to 2009, and Troy says hello to eveyone.

State Constitutions
I just found out that some states may have had more than one Constitution. I'm not sure why this surprises me, but I guess I also figured that if a constitution needed to be changed, it could always be amended. But, now that I think about it, the U.S. went from the Articles of Confederation to the U.S. Constitution, so it shouldn't be that surprising.
It does show that you can learn something new every day.
